Clint received his mission call on April 15, but he had a band concert for Weber State's band and chose to wait until the following day to open his call.
Mom and Dad (Claudia and Doug), Clint, Janel, Brian and Donna and Gwen were here. Melanie and Chad were on the phone. They were getting ready to bring Marley home the next day so they couldn't come. Clint's friends Kevin and Michelle were here for the big opening!
Clint added to the excitement by having a contest to guess where he would serve. He had each of us guess a "state side mission" and a "foreign mission". Clint had a gift card for the winner. Gwen was the big winner by guessing California.
Clint is called to serve in the San Diego California mission for the period of 2 years. He reports to the Missionary Training Center on July 1, 2009. He is a very excited ELDER!

So much fun! San Diego is a great city. He is going to be a great missionary. He's such a people person to start with. We love you Clint!!
Congrats to Clint. Does that mean I am getting old? Crazy can't believe how fast time goes. Good luck, you will be a great missionary.
